Ignite your food dream, be trained onsite by our qualified chefs, and score experience that will start your journey on the road to working in restaurants, hotels, catering, clubs, pubs, cafes, and events.
The Chef By Trade Holiday Cooking School is open to anyone aged from 14 to 17 years with a passion for food. Our Chefs will guide students through a variety of savoury and sweet dishes. Students will enjoy lunch together devouring the delicious dishes they prepared on the day.
From creating a loaf of Sourdough, to curing the finest Tasmanian Ocean trout in fresh garden herbs through to delicious desserts and pastries. Our qualified and experienced chefs are dedicated to sharing their culinary knowledge with you through their training.

Thursday, April 11, 2024.
Timing:
The day commences at 8:30am for registration in the College Hall. Cooking School begins at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm.
Cost:
The cost is $50 per participant and includes lunch prepared on the day. Register online and a member of the Trade College team will be in contact to confirm details and take the payment prior to the event.
What to bring:
Participants are required to wear their own steel-capped safety boots.
