Apprenticeships and traineeships combine structured on-the-job training (at your workplace) and off-the-job learning at a Registered Training Organisation to give you valuable skills and experience in your chosen field.
What is a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship?
A school-based apprenticeship or traineeship is exactly the same as a traditional apprenticeship or traineeship. On-the-job training, valuable employment skills, a nationally-recognised qualification, while they also undertake their senior secondary subjects leading to their Queensland Certificate in Education (QCE). Apprentices must be 15 years or older.
What is the advantage of an ATCNB school-based apprentice or trainee?
Employing an ATCNB school-based apprentice or trainee (SBAT) will enable students to accelerate their chosen trade careers with two (2) days per week of on-the-job training, plus regular extended full-time blocks at the school, undertaking their nationally-recognised qualification with other apprentices. All completed with a strong support network to ensure long term success in your business.
